Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has backed his side to "cause chaos" in the first leg of
their Champions League tie against Real Madrid.Jose Mourinho's men have been largely billed as favourites for the clash at the Santiago Bernabeu,
but the Scot is confident that the Red Devils can grab a goal.
He told reporters: "There won't be a 0-0 tomorrow. There will be goals. We have to play our own game. Our intention is to win and score and that can cause chaos in games we play.
"There can be late drama but we have to balance that with responsibility not to leave the dooropen."
The 71-year-old has overseen two Champions League triumphs with the Old Trafford outfit, and is of the belief that his current squad have the
talent to help him earn a hat-trick of European titles.
When quizzed on the possibility of going all the way, he replied: "Our team? I think so, yeah.
There's a great spirit about them."
Sir Alex also praised managerial counterpart Mourinho, predicting the Portuguese could go on to match his impressive trophy haul in the future.
He continued: "He is 50 years of age. He has 20 years to catch up on me and it is quite possible
he could."
