Super Eagles Rejected Our s*x Offer – Association Of Nigerian Prostitutes

It was reported few weeks ago that the Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (ANP), the umbrella body of commercial s*x workers in the country vowed to declare one week free s*x should the Super Eagles of Nigeria  return home with the African Cup of Nations trophy.
We also exclusively reported that the association sent over 113 members to South Africa  to cheer the Eagles to victory in the final cracker against the Stallions of Burkina Faso, which Nigeria won by a lone goal.
It was gathered that shortly after the victory last Sunday, one of the ringleaders approached a top member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) who was in South Africa to watch the match about their promise.
“He chased me and asked me to go to hell,” the lady told our reporter on telephone.
When asked if the promise was just for the Eagles or the entire country, the visibly angry lady replied: “Either for the Eagles or the country, he doesn’t have any right to tell me to go to hell, we are human beings. We will send in our press statement shortly,” she added.
A statement made available to us on Sunday and signed by the General Secretary, Jessica Elvis reads in part.
“The Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (ANP) wishes to congratulate the Super Eagles and indeed the entire nation for the successful outing of our senior national team in the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations, South Africa 2013. We are happy just like every other Nigerian.
Shortly after the victory on Sunday, one of our leaders met a top member of the Glass House in South Africa and informed him of our planned ‘free booz’ for the Eagles when they return to the country, but he outrightly rejected our offer. He told us to ‘GO TO HELL and GET A LIFE’ that the Eagles played with passion and not because of our ‘stupid’ promise.
We want to register our disappointment over the way we were turned down after our full support for the national team.
We shall continue to offer our support even as they prepare to face the world next year in Brazil,” the statement added.

confessional statement.
It was a gory site when the policemen
eventually opened the bag as it contained fresh human parts found inside two containers.

Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield stood toe to toe again, only this time there were hugs and smiles – and no bites to the ear.

Another Side of Goldie we didnt know existed,Interview and Shocking Pictures of Marriage

By Victoria Ige

It would have been disappointing if drama did not follow her death. Goldie, the unpredictable Goldie is pulling surprises even in death.
Just last night, a man believed to be her husband emerged, posting intimate pictures on Facebook, sharing same on her twitter handle, and engaging with several curious fans (he even issued a warning to Prezzo, the man many of us have come to know as the late singer’s bonafide partner).
There were rumours she may have been married or involved with an expatriate, but no one could confirm during her lifetime. But what was hidden for years tore the lid and came out last night, with the startling revelation by the man whose name is Andrew. Andrew Harvey.

While still mourning his wife and preparing to come to Lagos, he was kind enough to speak exclusively with Nigerian Entertainment Today…

So sorry about your loss. And so sorry to be contacting you under this circumstance. Nigerians are shocked to discover, through your FB post, that Goldie was married. I’m wondering if you’ll able to give me more details, and if we can have your permission to print some of the photos in the folder ‘Memories of my darling wife’?
You may print the photos, as for the details it really depends on what it is you’re looking for

Thanks Andrew. Just to clarify a few things
Like?

When did you wed her? And were you still married as at when she passed yesterday?
We wed in December 2005 and were very much married when she passed indeed I was talking to her on arrival in Lagos before the fateful event
I see you moved back to England. Do you have another family?
I work in Malaysia, we have a private home in UK, I do not have a second family

Also did you have kids together?
No kids, we were planning this year

There had been speculation for many years that she was married to an ‘oyinbo’ man. But no one could lay hands on anything. Why did you keep it a ‘secret’?
Our private life is nothing to do with work life, there has to be a balance

How did you hear of her death? I found out you last saw her in December?
I was talking to her on arrival in Lagos before the fateful event

How did you meet her? She must have been very young…
I met her at a friend’s leaving party and fell in love straight away, but had to work hard to persuade her I was genuine

So you will be planning to come here for burial rites…
Yes I have applied for visa and shall come next week

But how did you manage the Prezzo drama?
Prezzo was part of BBA game, just like in the movies, there was nothing to fear

But funny it dragged way beyond BBA
It dragged because the media dragged it, other wise it would have died naturally. Prezzo will say anything to get attention

Do you think he fell in love? And did you ever think Susan liked him for a minute…?
People fall in love and it’s not impossible to love more than one person, but there are different levels. She liked him initially, but began to despise him and distanced herself as he tried to use her she complained he was very manipulative

How did you come about your alias ‘Oyibopeppay?
Oyiiibopeppay is a name used in the villages for white man getting burned in the sun. I used to work in the bush erecting BTS for MTN and Glo
You have direct access to her password? The memories album was posted on her twitter. Or you requested for an admin to post?
I am an official admin. I don’t need any password but my own. It was authorised by Goldie

One last question: so much speculation on cause of death. I see from your facebook timeline that you’ve followed the reports. Have the doctors/family/label told you what the cause of death is?
An autopsy is being carried out and we will await results. The rest is speculation and hearsay

And did she have any medical condition?
She had no medical condition,

Is it true she was in India recently?
She was in Malaysia, we spent Christmas together away from prying eyes

What will you miss most about her?
Everything, she was the most beautiful person I ever met, no moment was wasted. Sweet, intelligent, sexy and a magnificent cook!!!!

And she was a determined young lady…
Very. That’s what I liked about her

Are you originally from England? Was she officially a citizen of your country by marriage? Or that was not concluded?
I’m from England and was processing Nigerian citizenship before I was transferred to Malaysia. Of course she was citizen of UK before we met, she lived and schooled there

She was indeed a star, as I’m sure you’ve seen from the tributes coming from far and near. Even the BBC and Billboard recognise her star
Yes we saw it on BBC news tonight. It is a devastating loss, but I support just as much wherever she has gone to.

May her soul rest in peace
Thank you.

We thought Boko Haram attackers were bringing people for vaccination until they opened Fire–Injured polio worker

Although she was shot in the head and leg, she  never ceases praising  Allah. As she narrated her ordeal, each sentence was punctuated with the name of Allah.
“All I could remember was that we had just settled down for work on the fifth day of the exercise when suddenly we heard gunshot outside. That was all I could remember,” said the 29-year-old mother of four,  Zahara’u Ayuba.
She is one of the few lucky ones that survived the attack by yet-to-be apprehended assailants that unleashed terror on health workers on immunisation routine in Kano penultimate Friday. She was among the four people rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
Zahara’u told Saturday Punch on her hospital bed on Wednesday that  her survival was just  a miracle. She said,   “When we were preparing for the day’s work, we never knew that death was lurking around the corner.”
Another survivor is Naja’tul Salisu, also a health worker. She was rushed to the Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital where she had some bullets removed from her body.
However,  Sadi and  Ibrahim, two siblings   of the same parents, were not so lucky. While Sadi was felled by the attackers bullets on the spot, Ibrahim later died at the Intensive Care Unit of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
The gunmen who rode on a tricycle popularly known as “Keke NAPEP”, the Saturday Punch gathered, attacked two separate health centres on that fateful day. One at the Kauyen Alu Primary Health Care, Unguwa Uku   in Tarauni Local Government Council,  and Hotoron Haye  in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the  state. Simultaneously, the gunmen opened fire on the health workers. They  were all  motionless, a situation that gave the attackers the feeling that they had successfully accomplished their mission. At the end of the operation, nine persons, mostly women  were confirmed dead while six others sustained various degrees of injury as result of gunshot. Not satisfied, the gunmen set the health centres ablaze.
“Initially, on sighting the gunmen, we thought they were bringing patient to the hospital, but when they alighted from the Keke Napep, they brought guns and shoot into the air before attacking the health workers,” said a witness who did not want his name in print.
That was the  calamity that befell defenceless health workers out to eliminate the child-killer disease – polio in Kano State where the disease is most prevalent. They were about going  out  for an exercise to round off  the four-day polio vaccination campaign when the met their death.
According to Siddiqa Ayuba, 25, and sister to one of the survivors, Zahara’u, when the incident took place, the entire family were left in confusion. She told reporters that the incident sent the entire members of the family in different directions in search of the sister. She was grateful to the state government for footing the medical bills of the survivors and other well-meaning individuals that came to their aid when the incident occurred.
“I was about going out when the news filtered in that my sister had been shot by gunmen. It was my sister’s husband who called to tell us that his wife was shot. Upon receiving the news, I became dumbfounded. In fact, my  husband  had to snatch the handset from me. We then divided ourselves to search for  the hospital she was rushed to. My elder brother went to the Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital while my husband  went to the Murtala Muhammed Hospital. It was on our way that we got  a phone call that she(sister) was  at the  Emergency Ward of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital,” she said.
Narrating her ordeal, Zahara’u told our correspondent that she was grateful to the Almighty Allah because she is alive and will see her four children again. Since her travails, the children, she said, had been under the care of her sister.
Condemnations have continued to greet the dastardly act even as the Nigeria Police Force has yet to make any arrest, one week after the incident took place. But the Inspector General of Police, Muhammadu Abubakar,  has  vowed to apprehend killers  of the nine health workers, who were on routine immunisation in the state.

Sad Story of a girl who got raped at 10,gang-raped at 19 and got Suicidal afterwards.

At 37, Blessing Anuoluwapo (not real name) has had enough tragic encounters to last more than a lifetime. At a point, she hated menand vowed never to get married. No one would blame her, having been raped four times! On two occasions, she was gang- raped by people she called friends.
At the age of ten, when children were only concerned with playing and eating, Anuoluwapo was being molested by their houseboy who was twice her age. He first began by touching her, before it later resulted in him having sex with her on a number of occassion.
She didn’t tell anyone because the boy had threatened her. He told her that he would deal with her severely if she ever told anybody. At that age, she was confused and did not know what to do.
“When I was about 10 years old, I was abused by our house boy. Then we used to stay in our family house. He used to abuse me. As at then, I did not know anything. He was hefty and easily bullied me. The guy was about 20 years old. I cannot really remember how it happened exactly back then. I did not report him to my parents then because he threatened me,” she said.
Before she turned 20, her father’s friend began caressing her at every opportunity. Whenever he wanted to greet the young girl, he made sure he got a close hug and touched her breast and other private regions.
“Some years after, my father’s friend also had canal knowledge of me. When he came and wanted to greet me, he would hug me closely and touch part of my body he shouldn’t have touched-like my breasts. Because of that, I used to run from him. Whenever he came, I did not want to see him. He came mostly in the evening. I think I was his main target when he came in the evenings so most times when he came, I ran. On this particular day, I was sleeping in the dinning room, there was no light. I noticed that someone was touching me. When I opened my eyes, I saw that he was the one that was touching me. I tried to push him but because he was bigger than me he had an advantage. He pinned me down and it later occurred to me that probably he hypnotized me because when he did that, I became helpless. I tried to push him off; I really tried so he didn’t have sex with me that day.
“The other time I was sleeping in the parlour when he located me. I don’t know how he always got me. My mother was always facing her business. She was a tailor and the shop was in the compound, but she was always in the shop or at the market. That day, I was sleeping in the parlour. He overpowered me and had sex with me. He told me that I must not say anything. I cried and carried that burden with me. I did not want to go home anytime I was in school. All this happened before I was 20 years old. It was not easy, it almost got me mad,” she said.
Again her father’s friend threatened her that she must not tell anybody about what happened.
“I did not report to my parents because he threatened me. There is  something about people that abuse you; you see them as somebody that has a strong hold on you. You are very afraid of them. They create this fear in you and when you see them, your heart will be in your mouth. I was living in Ebutte-Metta in Lagos,” the young lady said.
Unknown to her, her ordeal had just begun. She did not know what fate had in store for her. While attending extra-mural class, she was gang-raped on two different occasions.
During both encounters, it was by boys she called friends. The betrayal of friendship was a bitter one for her as the first time she was gang- raped it was by three boys.
Anuoluwapo said, “I used to go for a lesson when I wanted to write my JAMB back then. The lesson was in Yaba. There was a guy I met in the coaching lesson, his name is Lawrence. We became friends, we talked a lot. On this fateful day, I left lesson to go and buy something. I saw Lawrence and he told me to come over so we could talk.
“Someone who was my friend, I trusted him. He told me to come inside his house which I did. I sat in the parlour and before I knew it, two of his friends had come into the house. I knew one of them but we weren’t close. We just used to greet occasionally, his name is Tunde. Then Lawrence told me that I should come and see his sisters he told me stayed abroad; so I went to him. He gave me an album and I was looking at the pictures. We used to talk, we were quite close and he used to tell me about his sisters being abroad. Before then, he had never toasted me. He just called me to see the picture and as gullible as I was, I went to see the pictures.
“I was looking at the pictures and he was showing me his different relatives. The next thing I knew was that I was gagged, the light was off. It was around 7pm, my lesson then used to close at about 9pm. When they gagged me and the light went off, I did not know what was happening. I just heard Lawrence saying that it would be best if I could cooperate. It was the third guy that I did not know that was really brutal with me.
“They pushed me on the bed and the three of them had their way with me. When they told me to cooperate, I just laid there lifeless till they did all they wanted to. I can’t forget that day ever. It took a long time and I was on my period. Everywhere was messy. After that, Lawrence apologised. I left there and waited till late in the night before I got home. I did not tell anybody. I just went to my bed and slept like that. It was on that day I made a decision that I would never get married.”
She had no one to tell her plight and the burden was getting too heavy for her to bear, so she began keeping diaries. Having known their erroneous ways, Both Lawrence and Tunde came begging shortly after.
Tunde particularly, probably weighed down by the burden of his action, became very nice to Anuoluwapo. But no amount of niceness could make her forget such an horrible encounter.
“Since I could not tell anybody, I began keeping journals. In there I wrote how I felt because of the trauma it was causing me. I did not go back to the lesson after it happened for about three months. I went back and I faced the shame. Lawrence and Tunde came to apologise. They prostrated and I told them I had forgiven them but I could not forget. Tunde tried to be my friend, he became nice. Whenever I closed from lesson and I was heading home, he would walk me till I got a bus. He tried to be a good person,” she said.
After avoiding the lesson for three months, she decided to continue knowing how important her education was. A friend of hers, Dorothy, introduced her to a boy in Yaba College of Technology. His name is James.
James told Anuoluwapo that he really liked her and would like to date her, but she refused. She told him that they could only be friends. Unknown to her, the reply she gave planted a bitter seed in the mind of James. He later dealt with her in a way he thought was appropriate.
Once again, she got gang-raped, this time it was more brutal and with twice the number of boys that did it the first time. When it happened, Anuoluwapo told Saturday People that she wanted to die but death did not come her way.
Anuoluwapo said, “The fourth time it happened to me, it was a boy named James. He used to ask me out. I knew him through a female friend, Dorothy. He was a sudent in Yabatech but came around our lesson. He was someone that I saw as a friend. When he asked me out, I declined and told him we could only be friends. I was still in lesson.
“I sold female accessories and a female friend of mine, who also attended the lesson and lived very close by, told me to bring my goods to her house. I obliged her but I left my bag at the lesson with a friend of mine, Dorothy. I told her that I would be back soon. By the time I got back to ‘lesson’, everybody had gone home. When I did not see my bag, I began searching for it as all my money was in it.
“I went to meet the assistant proprietor of the lesson that I was looking for my bag but he shouted at me. He was really hostile because he had once asked me out and I refused his amorous advances. I told him that Dorothy could not have taken my bag home, probably she dropped it with him. He said that she did not and that I should not disturb him. I left and was wondering how I would get home when I saw James on the way. He asked me if I was not going home and I told him that I was looking for my bag and that I left it with Dorothy. He told me that he saw her when she was leaving and he knew where she went. All my focus was on retrieving my bag. He tricked me, telling me she went to Yabatech. We went to Yabatech and he was talking to a friend of his. I asked where Dorothy was and he told me that his friend knew where she was. I never knew they were strategising.
She continued, “The friend told me that she carried the bag and went into an estate. He told some other convincing lies I cannot remember. The estate was dark at night and quiet. As I was going with them, I just saw guys coming out from different angles. The next thing I heard was someone breaking a bottle. I knew the next thing that was going to happen and all that went through my mind was ‘is this supposed to be my friend?’ I knew I would be raped, but what I did not know was if I was going to survive it. I tried fighting my way out but they stabbed me severally with the broken bottle for me to know they meant business. There were six of them. I really fought my way to get out but how could I fight six guys? They all made sure they had sex with me till they were satisfied.
“When they were done, they left me there. The next thing was that I just got up and wanted to go home. I needed my family. I knew I could not hide it anymore, all that I had been through. I knew I had to just tell my parents about this one. My clothes were muddy, torn. After they were done, they were laughing at me. I could not recognise James again, he made fun of me. Maybe because he asked me out and I did not agrees that was why he raped me. A lot of things went through my mind. I did not have any money and I could not walk from Yaba to Ebutte Metta in that state.
“I saw a man just coming back from work and I begged him for money. He looked at me strangely but did not understand. I could not explain what happened to him. He gave me two N50 notes. I ran and as I was running I was cursing them in my pain. They saw me and were still laughing. I got a bus and I stopped at Yaba, where I stayed till very late in the night. As at then, I did not care about anything. If anybody wanted to do anything to me then, I did not care. It was just as if I should die, but I did not see anything that would kill me that time.”
When she got home everywhere was dark and quiet. They had locked the gate to her estate. Her father was looking for me.
“I saw his car from afar. When he saw me, he asked why I had mud all over me. He said he sensed that something was wrong with me. My mother was there, I told them all that happened, that I was raped. My father wanted to go and arrest him, but the stigma, I believe, did not let him. As a father, how would you bear it, that six boys raped your daughter. They went back to collect my bag and it had been with the Assistant Proprietor all the while. He was just being wicked because I did not accept his advances; that was why he kept my bag. He was the major cause of the incident. If I had seen my bag, I would not have come across them.”
She told her father about the James encounter alone and was taken to the hospital. It was just him and my mother with the doctor. The doctor began asking questions, so she told him she just wanted to be alone in the room with him.
“When my mother left, I told the doctor about the other incidents. He felt for me, I cried and he cleaned me up and gave me drugs. He called my mother into the room and told her. She nearly collapsed but he told her to be strong and advised her against telling my father. He said he was also a father and he knew how my father might take it if he found out. Till date, my mother never told my father,” she said.
After some time, she changed her decision about not getting married. Although not currently married, the whole experience affected her.
“I was not able to trust men, I had sleepless nights. I was traumatised. I attempted suicide twice after the two times I was gang-raped. I always took overdose of drugs so I could take my life. I was living irrationally. I noticed that I was a very friendly person and people tried to get close to me. With all that happened, I started being mean. I decided I would not allow people to take me for granted. I always pushed people away and never let anyone get too close. Even when I went into some relationships, I walked out soon after because I kept seeing men as being the same,” she said.
Anuoluwapo later became a born again Christian, after hearing messages about forgiveness. “I knew my heart was heavy because I was carrying a lot of things. I had nightmares, at a time I felt I was cursed. Why would this happen to me over and over again, even as a child? I got betrayed by people I called friends. I just wanted to get everything out of my chest. I wanted to be healed, although I am still being healed The message about forgiving people, letting them go no matter how they hurt you, helped me a lot,” the 37-year-old said.
She advised that whoever had gone through this plight should not keep quiet about it. Anuoluwapo said that it is only when one voices out that healing could happen.
She said, “It is advisable that when things like this happen they should voice out. They shouldn’t keep it. I kept it in me for a very long while. There were friends that saw my issues with relationship and tried telling to stay in one but I talk to them annoyingly that they should leave me as they have not been through what I have. They should not keep it to themself and they should try to look for healing.”
Anuoluwapo later graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University and is currently working with a local government in Lagos.
Mr. Treasure Kalu of EvictRapeAfrica, the Non-Governmental Organisation, rehabilitating Anuoluwapo told Saturday People that the young lady’s experience was a bitter one.
He said that it was good that Anuoluwapo decided to speak out about the incident and that was the first step to healing.
Kalu said, “Anuoluwapo’s experience is a painful one. Her decision to speak out about it was a giant leap that has helped her to heal. She is recovering and her life can only get better. People who have been abused in any way should not keep quiet about it.
The project, EvictRapeAfrica, got started on the 1st of August 2012. It’s an offspring of a childhood molestation experience which I had at the age of 8. The experience engendered a chain of reactions such as a low self-esteem, attempted suicide and bitterness. Having been able to gain freedom from the hold of the past, I found myself burdened with the need to create a platform that will spearhead a proactive campaign against sexual violence against women and kids in Africa, create a hub where the violated can be given a voice to seek justice and find emotional healing from the trauma.”

Bloody Valentine for Olympic star Oscar Pistorius

PRETORIA (AFP) – Olympic star Oscar Pistorius broke down in tears in the dock Friday as he was charged with the Valentine’s Day murder of his model girlfriend, a charge he denied “in the strongest terms.”
Reeva and Pistorius: a shocking murder
Reeva and Pistorius: a shocking murder
The 26-year-old South African Paralympian gold medallist sobbed inconsolably as Pretoria magistrate Desmond Nair announced a single charge of killing his lover, blonde covergirl Reeva Steenkamp.
The double amputee was an inspirational hero of last year’s London Olympics.
But on Friday he sat hunched and silent except for audible weeping as the court heard that prosecutors will argue the murder was premeditated, a weightier charge that would carry a life sentence.
A bail hearing was delayed until Tuesday to allow the defence more time to prepare.
He will be kept in police custody until then.

In a statement issued by Pistorius’s family and management company after the court appearance the fallen star said “the alleged murder is disputed in the strongest terms.”
He also offered his condolences to the those close to his former lover.
“Our thoughts and prayers today should be for Reeva and her family — regardless of the circumstances of this terrible, terrible tragedy.”
Twenty-nine-year-old Steenkamp, who was due to appear in a celebrity reality show from this weekend, was shot four times at Pistorius’s upmarket Pretoria home in the early hours of Thursday.
The pre-recorded show filmed in an exotic location in Jamaica features the model and several local personalities competing for one million rand ($113,500) prize money.
Trailers for the series show a beaming Steenkamp clad in a bikini and other skimpy clothing.
Producers said they had decided not to shelve the show, which will premiere two days after she was shot dead at Pistorius’s home.
“As we grieve today with Reeva’s family and friends and struggle to make sense of this shocking tragedy, it has taken much deliberation to come to the decision to continue screening Tropika Island of Treasure 5 as planned,” executive producer Samantha Moon said in a statement.
“This week’s episode will be dedicated to Reeva’s memory.”

She was killed with his 9mm pistol, suffering wounds to the head and hand and died at the scene.
The Beeld newspaper, which first broke the dramatic news of his arrest, said Friday the shots that killed Steenkamp were fired through a bathroom door but there has been no police confirmation.
After the shooting Pistorius’s apparent fall from grace has captured the attention of millions, with press from around the world cramming the courtroom to cover events.
Better-known as “Blade Runner” because of his carbon fibre prostheses, Pistorius has inspired millions by becoming the first double-amputee to compete alongside able-bodied athletes at the Olympics.
“Oscar’s Bloody Valentine” was the headline in South Africa’s most popular tabloid, the Daily Sun.
Police were called to Pistorius’s home at around 4:00 am by neighbours who heard gunshots.
But they poured cold water on initial reports that Pistorius had shot Steenkamp, his girlfriend since late last year, after mistaking her for a burglar.
Pistorius was publicly adored in his native South Africa, but questions had been raised about his colourful private life that was replete with glamorous girlfriends, guns and fast cars.
“Obviously we are shocked,” his father Henke Pistorius told AFP.
Steenkamp, once an FHM cover girl, was described as “the kindest, sweetest human being; an angel on earth,” by Sarit Tomlins of her management agency.
Born in Cape Town, she grew up in Port Elizabeth where she graduated with a degree in law from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
Police have revealed there had been previous allegations of domestic disputes at Pistorius’s home.
In 2009, Pistorius spent a night in jail after allegedly assaulting a 19-year-old woman at a party.
He has often spoken publicly about his fondness for guns. Last year he told a newspaper he sleeps with a pistol, machine gun, cricket bat and baseball bat for fear of burglars.
There are an estimated 1.5 million gun owners in South Africa, where crime remains a major problem.
Many residents keep weapons at home and equip their houses with electric fences and panic buttons that summon heavily armed guards within minutes.
In November, Pistorius tweeted about arriving home and hearing the washing machine on “and thinking it’s an intruder to go into full combat recon mode into the pantry! waa.”
Pistorius is also known as an adrenaline junkie, with a love of speed reflected in a passion for motorbikes. Four years ago he crashed his boat in a river south of Johannesburg, breaking two ribs, an eye socket and his jaw.
Empty alcohol bottles were found in the boat, but his blood alcohol content was not tested.
Until now his problems off the track had been eclipsed by his athletics success.
The Johannesburg-born athlete won gold in the 4x100m relay and the 400m individual at the Paralympic Games in London. He was triple gold medallist in the Beijing games in 2008.
He was named by Time Magazine last year as one of the world’s 100 most influential people.
Pistorius had both legs amputated below the knee when he was 11-months-old after being born without lower leg bones.

Nigerian Popular singer and former Big Brother Africa Housemate Goldie Harvey is dead.

Nigerian Popular singer and former Big Brother Africa Housemate Goldie Harvey is dead.
Goldie, born Susan Filani died on Thursday night at Reddington Hospital, in Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to Daily Times newspaper the singer died shortly after arriving in Nigeria from the US where she attended the Grammy awards.
Her record label, Kennies Music released an official statement through her Twitter and Facebook accounts announcing her death.
"It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you all that Goldie passed this night shortly after arriving Lagos from LA. May her soul rest in the eternal peace of the Lord", the message read.
Goldie was a housemate on Big Brother Africa in 2012 where she met Prezzo with whom she had an on-again off-again relationship. The two were rumoured to be engaged and planning to tie
Goldie was born In the early 80s to very educated and successful parents – her mum, late Mrs. Olabisi Betty from the illustrious Olaiya family in Ijebu, Ogun State was a former managing director in a bank, while her dad, a native of Ikole-Ekiti, Ekiti State, also retired as a director in a new generation bank. The first of four kids, Goldie’s education began at the Green Springs Montessori Primary School and then St. John's College, Palm Grove, Lagos where Christian Religious Knowledge, she said, was her favourite subject because she didn’t have to study too hard to pass it. In fact, by the age of 10, she already knew so many bible verses that belied her age.
Goldie had found music through the prism of divas like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Toni Braxton. And even at that age, she was already learning the style and nuances of pop, even emulating Braxton’s style of keeping her side burns oiled.
Then, she met renowned producer, OJB Jezreel who would produce her first single, Komole. This was followed by three other singles Spin Me, Nothing has Changed, and Shift, which all formed part of her compilation CD. Since then, there has been no stopping her. Through the turbulence, drudgery and seeming imperviousness of the music industry, Goldie held her own, talent for talent, and creativity for creativity. After a tentative management deal in 2009, Goldie was signed on to Nigeria’s foremost music label, Kennis Music in 2010.
A few months later, she released her debut album, Gold, which given Nigerians’ apathy towards pop music, has been a critical success. The album exudes the audacity and flamboyance of Goldie, and has spewed a couple of provocative, smart, and infectious videos; You Know It, JawoJawo and DTMB (Don’t Touch My Body) The 3 songs are now certified street anthems with increasing followership

"We had got the hint that the other faction was going to unleash terror on us, that was why, the SSS patrolled the motor parks and eventually
arrested fourteen out of them," Akinpelu added.

Ezu River: Corpses to be exhumed again

The 25 unidentified corpse which were found floating on Ezu river in Awka, Anambra State, may again be exhumed for the second time, following revelations that the police did not give approval for their burial.
Apart from the non-approval by the police, the corpses were hurriedly buried at the bank of the river which is the only source of water for the community.
These were the feelers from the Senate Committee on Police Affairs and Security and Intelligence which visited Ezu river in Amansea, Awka north local government area of the state yesterday.
Investigation team who discovered that the corpses were not properly buried and that they could be washed back into the river any time it overflows its bank.
The committees, led by Senator Muhammed Magoro, had asked Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Bala Nasarawa, whether he gave approval for the burial which he denied. The committee expressed disgust over the burial, without the approval of the police who ougtht to be investigating the matter remarked that it was wrong to bury them close to the river bank.
"The corpses were buried close to the river which is the only source of water and if the river overflows its bank, the corpses will be washed back to the river, he said." The State Commissioner of Health, Dr
Lawrence Ikeakor said the bodies would be exhumed. This will be the second time the bodies will be exhumed. The bodies were first exhumed for autopsy after examination on three of the bodies were carried out.
The committees were not happy that other neighbouring communities as Ugwuoba were not represented.
There were contradictory reports on how the bodies were found. While some said the bodies were already decomposed and floating, others said there were blood stains on the bridge which is approximately 200meters from a police post, indicating that the bodies were fresh but the police
commissioner while responding to question by members of the committee, said there were no blood stains found in the area.
Vanguard investigation revealed that a woman living in the area said she noticed a vehicle parked on the bridge and some people were throwing some objects into the river. "Around 3am while I was preparing my Kunnu for sale, I noticed some people were at the bridge throwing objects into the river."
Igwe Kenneth Okonkwo of Amansea, who disclosed that no member of the community was missing, after being prompted by the senate committee, said the community is employing the traditional means of fact finding which he said would soon be
concluded.

RMD, Goldie, Kennies At The Grammy Awards

The 55TH recently held Grammy Awards which honoured a galaxy of entertainers might have come and gone but the memoirs will linger for a while. Usually, the event had a wide range of celebrities within and outside the United States of America, no doubt, it was said to have recorded unprecedented success judging frills this year had.
Part of those who celebrate the glorious award events in the history of entertainment globally is Nigeria. Almost half a decade, the
likes of Keke Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye with their Kennies Music crew often storm the States to cover the event for the viewing audience in Nigeria.
But, the question that may take a decade to answer is, have the organizers of the event ever given any reservation for Nigerian contingents aside those previously nominated? What brings this
subject up is the likes of Goldie and Richard Mofe-Damijo who claimed to be live at this year's Grammy yet they could not see the four wall of the auditorium.
A source said, "Trust Nigerians, if they
have the invite before hand, they would have posted it on twitter of facebook that they are invited. Even Kennies who often record the event annually has never shown the auditorium but those at the red carpet which is of course for
every man-hood and harry preferably
you're recognized as an entertainment
partisan."
Who do we believe now? Goldie who took a picture in the street of where the event was held or RMD whose picture was taken in front
of a scroll banner? Nigerians won't stop to amaze me with their comic instinct!
